Stop For A Moment...

This week two of my friends in the local housing industry passed away.  This has caused the recurrant, yet much ignored, reminder of how short and fragile life is.  We get so busy and overwhelmed in our business.  The real estate transaction is such an important part of our clients' lives that it is easy to get caught up in the stress, emotion and the frustration of the deal.  I admit that I am often far too busy to stop and enjoy the little things in life.  At the risk of being cliche, I neglect to stop and smell the roses!  I am so busy providing a good living for my family that I often overlook the living part.  Let's all purpose to make a point of stopping once in a while and enjoy the little things.  To stop for a moment , just one moment and consider something that we would otherwise take for granted!

Thank You For The Trust...

There is a high level of commitment and trust placed in Realtors and loan officers by their respective clients.  This is typically the biggest transaction in a person's life.  Have you stopped to consider the sobering idea that your clients put faith into you to fulfill their dream of home ownership?  If so, have you genuinely thanked your client for this?  I think we need to let our clients know how much we appreciate them.

The following are some quick ideas to express your gratitude to your clients...
1. Send thank you notes.
2. Give a closing gift.
3. Make the closing special with balloons or flowers.
4. Put together a digital album of them buying their dream home.
5. Host a back yard barbecue at the client's home.

6. Have their locks re-keyed.
7. Help pay for their moving expense.

I have also listed what the cost of the app is in Apple's App Store.  Have a hAPPy time trying them out for yourself! : )

4. Voxer free-turn your phone into a virtual walkie talkie.
